Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: September 2026
This policy applies to everyone using HackwithClaude. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and the usage policies of the upstream providers that serve your requests.
1. Use the service lawfully
You must not use HackwithClaude, or help anyone else use it, to:
- Break any applicable law, sanctions regime or export control.
- Attack systems you do not own or have written authorisation to test, including unauthorised scanning, exploitation, credential stuffing or denial of service.
- Create or distribute malware, ransomware or credential-harvesting tooling.
- Run fraud, phishing, spam or large-scale deceptive campaigns.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, or targeted harassment.
- Produce content that impersonates a real person or organisation in order to deceive.
2. Security research
Security professionals are welcome. Testing must stay within a scope you are authorised to test — your own systems, a client engagement with written permission, or an in-scope bug bounty program. You are responsible for holding that authorisation, and we will cooperate with lawful requests where abuse is reported.
3. Keys, gateways and resale
- API keys are for one user. Do not share or publish them.
- Do not expose your key through a public proxy, bot or reseller endpoint unless you hold a plan that explicitly permits reselling.
- Do not create multiple accounts to farm free grants or referral rewards.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, billing or authentication.
4. Sensitive data
Do not send protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, biometric data or children's personal data through the API. We are building guardrails that detect and drop sensitive material rather than forwarding it.
5. Enforcement
We may rate-limit, suspend, revoke keys or terminate accounts that breach this policy, with or without notice, and without refund. Serious abuse may be reported to the relevant provider or authority.
6. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the platform, contact @hackwithclaude on Telegram with details and any evidence you can share.
