1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of the website and services provided by HackwithClaude ("HackwithClaude", "we", "us"), available at hackwithclaude.com. By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and have authority to enter into this agreement. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

3. The service

HackwithClaude provides cybersecurity research content, prompt libraries, methodology guides, and a credit-based AI chat assistant ("the Service"). The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

4. Acceptable use & prohibited conduct

• No unlawful activity, fraud, or spam.
• No infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.
• No interference with the security of the Service or other users' systems (probing, scraping at scale, malware distribution).
• Security research content is provided for educational and authorised testing purposes only. You must not use payloads, prompts, or guides against systems you do not have explicit written authorisation to test.

5. AI-specific terms

• Acceptable use of AI: No illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware generation for unauthorised use, CSAM, or jailbreaking attempts against third-party platforms.
• Your responsibility: You are responsible for the prompts you submit, how you use outputs, verifying their accuracy, and having the rights to any content you input.
• IP in inputs/outputs: You retain rights to your inputs; you receive a non-exclusive licence to use generated outputs. Rights-holders who believe content infringes their IP may contact abuse@hackwithclaude.comfor takedown.
• Moderation rights: We may filter, refuse, or remove outputs and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
• Accuracy disclosure: AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on them for regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without independent verification.

6. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your purchased plan. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits.

7. Payments and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Credits are sold as one-time top-ups. They do not expire and are non-transferable between accounts. Pricing and conversion rates are shown at checkout.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, refund disputes under review, or repeated/serious policy violations.

9. Warranties & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 6 months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (loss of profits, data, or goodwill), save for liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud, death, personal injury).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or violation of these Terms.

11. Consequences of termination

On termination we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period. You can request export of your data before termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HackwithClaude is established. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
